COMMISSIONS
Thank you for considering a commissioned work. For me, creating one is an opportunity to depict a story, expression, or vision you have, mirrored in my artistic style - and I love doing so.
MY PROCESS
We’ll start by having a conversation to discuss your vision, inspiration, and ideas for the commission. We’ll also discuss the material(s) that would match this vision (depending on the colours, finish, and a 2D/3D plaster work). We can do this in person, by phone, videocall, or email - whatever works best for you.
Next, I'll create rough sketches based on the conversation to help develop its concept and composition. I’ll share the sketches with you to ensure you’re happy with the idea, when you are, I will start with the piece and let you know the estimated time it will take.
Finally, once it’s is complete, I’ll send you a picture of the work and I'll ship it to you. In the Netherlands, I can also deliver it personally.
The sketches, progress pictures, and all other details, will be provided to you on your personal, password protected page on this website, which you will receive after our consultation. After the piece is finished, this page will still be accesible; you can view your work(s) there at any time.
PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
Each commission I undertake is tailored to your individual needs and budget, with pricing dependent on the size, complexity, and materials of the project. When we are done with our consultation, I will let you know the price of the work. Once you have agreed to the sketch and price, I will ask of you to pay 50% of the price in a depositum. When the painting is finished, I will ask for the remainder. Please note that shipping costs are not included in the price of the artwork and will be determined based on your location.
